The Last Lecture, a book and DVD written by a father of three young children as he faced his death, will begin this coming Sunday, March 1st, in the Nurturing Family Life class. Class meets at 9:45 in room 132 (the Library). This class focuses on Nurturing Christian families as they face the challenges and rewards of raising a family in today's world. Topics range from discipline, faith building, dealing with elderly parents, death, childrearing from birth through teenage-hood, etc. Come join us!
Journey Through the Bible resumes this Sunday, March 1st, in Room 203 at 9:45. Discussing the biblical texts from many points of view and research, the class is making its way each week through the Word. Lively discussion and fellowship is a feature in this class. The Heart of Christianity through summer at 9:45 am in Room 211. Lectures based on his book by Marcus Borg. We examine traditiional and emerging Christian visions of the Bible, God and Jesus, and explore personal and social responses to these visions. In September we will start a Faith and Reason series.

Paul and the Corinthians will be the topic of study in the Basics Class at 9:45 in Room 209, beginning March 1 and continuing through Lent. Come join in the discussion of this important book of the New Testament with a group that is known for great discussions and is represented by a wide range of ages and backgrounds.

Jason Micheli Leading Sunday Evening Class: Six Characters Searching for Resurrection
Beginning Sunday evening, March 1, Rev. Micheli will lead a class examining six characters we meet in the Passion drama: Pontius Pilate, Barabbas, Nicodemus, Joseph of Arimathea, Pilate’s wife and Peter. Through close readings of scripture and discussion, each class will look at a different character and will explore how each of the characters that Jesus meets on the way to the Cross reveal something of the truth of our world and how Christ’s resurrection makes possible a new way of life. Class begins a 6:00 and will conclude at 7:30.
