Children's Music Programs at Aldersgate
Nothing says “Praise God” with such joy and warmth as children singing or ringing bells in worship! If you have children from 3 years old through 6th grade, we have great choirs for them to participate in. Rehearsals are a mix of learning to sing or ring great music and learning how to praise God through their musical offerings, as well as having fun together!
Children’s choirs generally sing/ring every 6-8 weeks throughout the year. An added element to the vocal choirs are two musicals (Dec. 7-Christmas Musical, and June 7-Spring Musical), where children get the opportunity to act as well as sing. Our
Children’s Vocal Choir Schedule: Rehearsals on SUNDAYS
3 – 4 year olds: Cherub Choir Sunday mornings as part of Sunday School
K-2nd grade: Glory Choir Sunday afternoons, 6:00 – 6:45 pm
3rd-6th grade: Jubilation Choir Sunday afternoons, 6:00 – 6:45 pm
(Followed immediately by All For One Fellowship for 4th - 6th grade children,
from 6:45 – 7:30 pm. Children in 3rd grade should be picked up at 6:45.)
Parents will receive performance schedules at our first rehearsals
on Sunday, September 20.
Children’s
3rd grade: Chimers Sunday afternoons, 6:00 - 6:45
4th – 6th grade: Faith Ringers Sunday afternoons, 6:00 - 6:45 pm
(Church-wide dinner is served on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from 6:15-7:00 pm, allowing
Bell Choir children to participate in dinners as long as there is parent supervision.)
